About Investment
From the perspective of invested subjects, investment is divided into two categories: active investment and passive investment. Active investment is mainly based on “people makes money” and passive investment is almost entirely based on “money makes money.” Every individual in work, whether hiring or hired, is actively investing his time, labor and brainpower to exchange corresponding income, while passive investment is mainly about investing money itself; if measured by the term cycle, investment can be defined into two categories: medium and long-term investment, and short-term investment. Real estate, banks’ term savings, mutual funds, bonds, and insurance type investment products, as they are held relatively for a longer time, are medium and long-term investment choices, while for example, frequent stock transactions are normally treated as short-term investments; investments can also be classified into traditional investment and non-traditional investment according to public perception. Almost all products provided by banks and wealth management institutions belong to the category of traditional investment, while CFDs, futures and options belong to non-traditional investment. AZURELAKE provides fixed income debt products, which fall into the categories of passive investment, medium and long-term investment and traditional investment.

Rate of Return
Key Performance Indicator
The key indicator to measure the pros and cons of an investment is the annual average rate of return. No matter how well a person’s financial planning is done, the annual average rate of return ultimately determines the length of time it takes to achieve financial planning goals. In the case of similar investment risks, the higher the average annual rate of return, the better the quality of the investment. The fixed-income debt products provided by AZURELAKE have annual average yields higher than the market average performance.
Industrial Protocol
Legal Entity Identifier
After the pain of the global financial crisis in 2008, the investment industry underwent major adjustments to industry norms. In June 2014, the Financial Stability Board initiated the establishment of the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), which unifies the standards for the legality identification of global investment companies, and uses this standard for registration, the establishment of a legal enterprise database, and supervision. The top seven banks in Canada have been registered, including Royal Bank of Canada, TD Bank of Canada, Imperial Bank of Canada, Montreal Bank of Canada, Scotiabank, National Bank of Canada and HSBC Bank. AZURELAKE has also been officially registered with the GLEIF since May 2019.
Our investment business has matured into fixed-income debt products, which can provide creditors / investors with a guaranteed stable cash flow that is higher than the average market performance.
